It is these that stop us from functioning at full speed and pace.

The top five time management mistakes that we make are:-

1) To start the day without any definite agenda on your mind: - the day has to start with a definite frame of mind in which you know the tasks to be accomplished during that phase and day. You will know your priorities and deadlines and will understand where it is that you are going wrong.

2) Get unbalanced in life:- the seven important areas which need out attention are Intellectual, Health, Family, Social, Financial, Professional, and Spiritual. The amount spend in all of these areas make up most of our total gross time spent and it is not necessary that each areas will have the same amount of attention and time. The balance will thus get out of control and eventually will lead to stress in life, this stress will then lead to work getting sabotaged and this time management goes down the drain hover much you work on it.

3) Work in a mess or have a dirty messy work area: - the mind is easily distracted by things around, and if the desk itself or the work area itself is messy then there is no other option for the mind but to be distracted every time it looks up from the work that you are doing. The mind is always crowed with things to do and the mind is never free form the clutter of thoughts just like the space that it works in.

4) don’t get enough sleep: - nearly 75% of the workforce complains of all out tiredness even after a good night’s sleep, that is because whatever time is that you miss out on sleep, it piles on as sleep debt, which needs to be finished, or the people have a lot of sleep but the quality of sleep is very poor, this brings a lot of stress into our lives.

5) don’t take a lunch break:- after several hours of work the minds starts to dull, this is because the mind needs replenishment of the nutrients lost during work hours and only after the required break from work and from stress will result in any productive work. If we don’t take the breaks needed, out mind will continue to work but dull, this will result in double the amount of time taken to do any work.
